About this Course

Earn your shallow water lifeguard certification from the American Red Cross course. Our lifeguard certification courses are designed to ensure that you are properly trained and prepared in the event of a water emergency. *PREREQUISITES: Must be 15 years old by the end of the class. Swim 300 yard continuously. Surface dive 5 ft deep, grab 10 lb. brick and swim 20 yards with legs only back to wall. Tread water for 2 minutes using legs only. Certification not guaranteed. Participants must attend all sessions, and complete both a written and skills test.
