Are you new to Tai Chi Qi Gong? Or, do you wish to renew your practice? The early class is designed for those who are new to Tai Chi; the following class is for those who have taken the first class, and wish to learn the “Short Form” of Tai Chi. Tai Chi Qi Gong movements improve strength and balance, promote a smooth coordination of movement, and develop muscle memory, mental focus and cognitive memory. In this class we will develop balance, coordination and strength by weight shifting, stepping, and turning. We will use short Qi Gong sequences and the movements of the first section of the Tai Chi form. Wear flexible shoes with a smooth sole or just your socks.
