About this Course

"Something wicked this way comes..." COME PLAY with Shakespearience! and delve into William's wicked and wiley, masterful moral tale, MACBETH. Over three weeks, we will focus on the world of the play and its archetypical characters, ensemble acting, movement and blocking, text, and of course...our signature - stage combat with a focus on broadswords. Your young artist will have a dynamic and immersive experience with Kitty Thompson and the Shakespearience team. We will direct them in Macbeth's pivotal scenes and soliloquies, as well as each camp's artist-choreographed ensemble battle between Macdonwald's and Duncan's armies. Camp will conclude with a cumulative performance at the ampitheatre in Old Mill Park.
